Users have the ability to save their drive password(s) on a password file. This is automatically done when setting up the password for a drive, and is an option anytime a password is being set or changed. To save the password, select the drive you would like to save it to before proceeding. Once the password has been saved, it can be used for authenticating any operations for the drive. If the password is read for changing the password, the new password will automatically replace the old password. If the password is read to authenticate for Revert Setup, then the password file will be automatically erased if Revert Setup is successful. NOTE: If saving the password to a USB drive, it is required that you use a USB drive that has been formatted using FAT. This requirement is necessary because the Pre-boot environment is not able to read passwords from drives that are formatted differently.
